Where can I find where to submit my website to?

Hi there,
I am currently reading and learning about backlinks and I find myself stumped as to where I can submit my website to. I understand the logic's and methods for backlinks but just don't know how to find good quality websites to submit my website to.
I appreciate any help in advance.

Hi Jay,
When you say 'submit your website to" be careful you don't fall foul of Google's guidelines See: Link Schemes: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/66356?hl=en) otherwise, all your efforts could be in vain.
Don't be tempted to submit your site to each and every blog or directory which has a dofollow link in the hope of a quick boost to your rankings (which, for many, was the "go to" method to fast-track their way to the top, a few years back). Instead, spend some finding the 'influencers' within your niche and take some time to build relationships with them and see if you can get them to engage with you, to help you promote your product or service. A great tool to help you find these 'influencers' is BuzzStream: http://www.buzzstream.com.

Hi Jay,
I would be very careful with your links. You can add your site to some business directories for a start but make sure you check them before you place the link. A good article on inbound links is:

I use the Open Site Explorer to see what the value of a link has:

Hi All, What Should be the URL of third party blog for my website. Lets say if i have a website xyz.com (which provide pest control services in New York City) and I want to create third party blogs on platforms like blogspot, weebly etc so should i create the blog url as xyz.blogspot.com or i can use a keyword in the blog URL such as pestcontrolnyc.blogspot.com? Which URL would be the best as per Google's guidelines. Note: I have already have a blog within the domain as xyz.com/blog/ and i do weekly posting on this blog. Blog articles on website vs submitting to article submission sites
I had some articles created for a client. The site is on WordPress. I'm wondering if it is best to add the articles to the blog page of the website or if it is better to submit the articles to ezine articles. Or can I submit the same article to both places? Is there a strategy that should be followed generally speaking when creating content for the blog vs article submission sites? The goal is to increase the ranking for target keywords. I realize that the answers could take a lot of different directions. But generally speaking I would like to know, If I have an article where is the best place to add it to achieve better rankings for target keywords? Thanks for the help.

How can I find all the outbound links from a website domain?
I want to find all the outbound links (basically whatever comes in <a>tag) from a domain (say www.abc.com) as well as all the subdomains under it (say abc.com/a etc). Open Site Explorer provides the inbound links from a website but does not provide any functionality to get all the outbound links from a website. Is it possible to do?</a> <a>Thanks in advance. How can I find and fix my broken links
There are a number(110) links that SEOmoz has found to have 404 errors. I have been able to find and fix many of them but there are links that are coming from our home page that do not seem to exist. I cannot even find the links in our system in wordpress. Is there something obvious that I am missing? Is there a way to locate where the links are originating from?

Where I can find a backlink community exchange?
I know is difficult but it's worth to try. I am looking for a community eager to exchange links. I am in the venue rent for weeding and conferences in London and I would be delighted to find other people to exchange the links. At the moment my page is PR4 I have seen communities for games where they exchange anything, why don't link exchange!!!!

Where can I find a list of the top DA websites on the web?
I'd like to find a ranking of the top DA websites on the web. I'm mostly interested in US websites. I'd like at least the top 10,000 or so but the more the better. Is there a way to get this data from OpenSiteExplorer or another source? I have created 5 spokes like wheel in last month I used the following sites to create my link wheel hubpages.com wordpress.com blogsopt.com blog.com squidoo.com I could find that all links are indexd by google search engine . I know that some SEO expert says they ypur link wheel shumitted to social bookmark and rss feed. Do i have submit this to social book mark and rss feed ? Because this is already indexed. Creating a separate blog off our website
A while ago we purchased some domains that are related to our industry. I'm fairly sceptical about using them, but I am interested what peoples thoughts are. We are currently producing quite alot of engaging content and although it's industry related, it is sometimes quite broad and not always appropriate for our company blog. I have been debating whether or not it will be a good idea to use one of the domain names that we have purchased to create more of an industry blog that is off our website. I'm not sure if this is considered a "black hat" technique by using domains registered to us? And also whether or not Google will punish because we are blogging from the same IP address and linking back to our site ? I look forward to hearing what people think. Thanks,
