Shortly after being born in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, my parents decided to accept a job opportunity in the Middle East that ended up seeing me grow up in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, living in a compound built for western employees of the Saudi Aramco Oil Company. This granted me a very unique and special opportunity to travel the world, be exposed to countless cultures, people, businesses, and unique experiences that helped turn me into the incredibly resilient, inquisitive, open minded, and determined person that I am. I love people, I love challenges, I love to push myself to be creative and add value in any way I can to the people, projects and situations I am surrounded by. In the late 1980's I discovered a love of programming, 3D modelling, computer animation, and graphic design. That lead to me studying Computer Science in university as well as obtaining a graphic design diploma and other certificates to help me round out my rudimentary skills. I started my first business in 1995, an internet business called "Inter Comm Canada" which offered website development to the world at large that still unfortunately didn't see the potential in it that my co-owners and I saw. Since then, I've lead design, advertising, marketing and software development teams right up to where I am now which is co-Founder of a 15 year old New Media non-profit training organization, Chief Business Development Officer for a $50M/year mail-order company, and father of 3 young minds that I do my best to encourage to pursue whatever sparks their passion.
