Gavin is an attorney and partner with Doi / Luke, Attorneys at Law, LLLC, in Honolulu, Hawaii. He practices primarily in the fields of divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, restraining orders, and other family law matters. Born and reared in Honolulu, he graduated from William T. McKinley High School, and received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law
In his spare time, volunteers time with the Hawai'i State Bar Association and Volunteer Legal Services Hawaii. Over the last 17 years, Gavin has coached high school mock trial students -- at McKinley, Campbell, and Castle High Schools. Gavin is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the HSBA Family Law Section, and was presented with the 2002 Justice Award by the Hawaii State Bar Association, which honors one lawyer annually for their outstanding contribution to the ideals of justice. Gavin has received a Martindale-Hubble
rating of Very High Legal Ability and Ethical Standards.
